TwerzelsWho Are The Twerzels?

The Twerzels are a two-piece tribute to The Wurzels based somewhere in the West Country. Dave and Mark create the sounds of the West Country playing all the old favourites.

"The Twerzels, a tribute to the West Country’s finest The Wurzels of course, are just about impossible not to like, tap you toes along to and join in with. They may be aimed at people of a certain vintage who remember the originals but that won’t stop younger audiences joining in with classics like I Am a Cider Drinker and all the rest. The second part of their show, says the publicity, is kept for the “drunken crowd to get up and stonk around to Combine Harvester and several other dance numbers”. In short, a good time is guaranteed for all." (Showcall Showcase 2006)

These guys are often seen performing alongside Jethro tribute act Jeddro (who looks remarkable like the banjo player!)
