Who
Is Jethro?
Jethro, christened
Jeff Rowe, is Cornish born and bred. A larger than life figure -
he played prop for Penzance and Newlyn rugby club! - he made his
name as a stand-up comedian, bringing Cornwall to the masses. He
is as well-loved in his native Cornwall as Adge Cutler is in Somerset,
and runs his own club (Jetho's Club) on the Cornish-Devon border.
Jethro
has made various TV appearances on the likes of the Des O'Connor
Show and Jim Davidson’s Generation Game show.
He has hosted two shows of his own, The Jethro Junction,
on HTV and in December 2001 appeared in front of the Queen for the
Royal Variety Show.
In
March 1995, Jethro walked the 100 miles or so from Land's End to
Lewdown to raise money for the Bristol Cancer Open Scanner Appeal.
He gave a show each night at a local venue and in total managed
to raise £20,000.

Jethro
Discography
Jethro
has released videos and more recently DVDs of his live shows every
year since 1993. These appear to be no longer available from the
official Jethro website, so I have listed them all here.
As
well as releasing new shows, since 2006 Jethro has also started
releasing triple DVD packages containing the new show together with
re-issues of two of the older shows allowing fans to get hold of
the otherwise discontinued recordings.
Most
of Jethro's discography was also released on audiobook (either audio
CD or cassette). Again, some of the older shows have been discontinued,
but as far as I know it, there are no plans currently to make these
available.
