'Ere Whacks
"West Country songs, parodies and general rudeness"

biography | links | acknowledgements

Who Are 'Ere Whacks?

Bath based 'Ere Whacks, established in 2006, is probably one of the rudest West Country bands around, performing a mixture of traditional West Country songs, parodies and general rudeness. Their mix of songs from Adge Cutler to the Pussy Cat Dolls and Mary Hopkin are full of innuendo and naughtiness and their 'Limerick Song' is guaranteed to offend almost everyone.

The band line-up is as unlikely as its music, consisting of a Managing Director, a professor and a retired property manager. The last two are highly accomplished musicians, brandishing banjo, mandolin, accordion and ukulele. The 'M.D.' - John Moon, sticks to the singing, the occasional bit of kazooing and writing the rude lyrics.
